Virtual … you can switch the editor from visual to HTML … this will reveal the source… Is this what you mean ?

I understand your point … It really depends on what you want to do with your blog … For me it’s important to quickly be able to switch around content elements. For this I don’t like to load the PHP file through an FTP program and switch around code blocks. It really would be too much work …

This is where widgets come in … quick fast, easy, and now more or less standard..

When it’s not broke, don’t fix it.. but if you can improve it, do it

I played around with a hosted demo a few weeks ago (honestly can’t remember where). I did not see anything that I felt like I “have to have.”

I’ve never cared for the file upload or “widgetized” features, anyway. I’m more comfortable with FTP-ing and hand-coding my templates.

I’m currently wondering “If it’s not broke, why do I want to fix it?”

I do appreciate your assessment though.

I really love the new version of wordpress, however ive had problems with the visual display where you enter your post in wordpress. Ive posted to their support boards but still haven’t had replies so ive had to downgrade again.

The toolbar where you can style your post etc doesn’t appear for me, i thought this maybe a glitch but after uploading a fresh version of wordpress i had no problems. The problem only appears when i import my database which is odd. Id really love to use the new wordpress but this one problem is forcing me to use the older version, which is annoying but that’s life i guess.
